  July begins a new Lion year with new officers.  $50 dues, semi annual, are now due!  Payable to Windcrest Lions Club; give to Treasurer Marlene Patton.


New Members:   Josie Burke was installed as a new member in the Windcrest Lions Club on February 11, 2014.  Welcome Josie!!!

Dennis Allen was installed as a new member in the Windcrest Lions Club on February 25, 2014.  Welcome Dennis!!!

Nanette Patton was installed as a new member in the Windcrest Lions Club on March 11 2014.  Welcome Nanette!!!!


Don Doyle was named the Lion of the Year at our 2014 installation banquet. Congratulations Don!





      MEMBERS:    Please bring dues, $50 for one half year.   A new year began on July 1, 2014



We collect used eyeglasses, sunglasses, and drugstore-type eyeglasses--cases may be donated.   Hearing aids may be turned in to us as well. Contact any of the officers listed above, OR  These listed objects may now be deposited in the "White" box at the city center used for your water bills.   Note:  we also collect used Cell Phones, any condition. Drop them in the same white eyeglass drop box at city center.

  • MEMBERSHIP: Call one of the officers listed and ask to be invited to a meeting; membership is open to men and women.
    • Activities :

      DICTIONARY PROJECT:    Dictionaries (528) were delivered to all 3rd graders at Walzem Elementary, Windcrest Elementary, Camelot Elementary, and Montgomery Elementary during the week ending Nov 8, 2013.  Another great opportunity for giving and serving!  The students enjoyed receiving them as much as our Lions enjoyed giving them.  Way to go Lions!

  • PEACE POSTER CONTEST.   Ed White Middle School art students had their Peace Posters  Judged on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.   An awards ceremony took place on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 3:50 p.m. also at Ed White Middle School, with refreshments.
