APRIL 10---Business Meeting.  Dinner by Chef Ed.  We vote on the 2012-2013 Officers.  Everyone please attend. 

APRIL 24--Club Special Event:  Fiesta Dinner.  Please contact Lion Ric Henderson that you will party with him.  This is also a regular meeting evening.

    2012 LIONS CLUB ACTIVITIES

      MEMBERS:    Please bring dues, $50 for one half year.   A new year began on July 1, 2011

  •  
  • We collect used eyeglasses, sunglasses, and drugstore-type eyeglasses--cases may be donated.   Hearing aids may be turned in to us as well. Contact any of the officers listed above, OR  These listed objects may now be deposited in the "White" box at the city center used for your water bills.   Note:  we also collect used Cell Phones, any condition. Drop them in the same white eyeglass drop box at city center.

  • MEMBERSHIP: Call one of the officers listed and ask to be invited to a meeting; membership is open to men and women.
  •   DICTIONARY PROJECT:    Dictionaries were given in the fall of 2011 to approximately 600  3rd graders at Walzem Elementary, Windcrest Elementary, Camelot Elementary, and Montgomery Elementary and to faculty.

  • PEACE POSTER CONTEST.   Ed White Middle School
  • 2011 WINNERS: First place: Jaylon Carter, grade 7; Second place: Alexia McClenic, grade 7; Third place: Nathalia Salgado-Torres, grade 6.
  • An AWARDS CEREMONY was held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 3:45 p.m. in the Ed White Middle School Library. Lions congratulate all participants.
